Facebook looking to buying whatsApp: Rumors

Unofficial sources has confirmed facebook looking to buy WhatsApp. However, this is a gentle move for Facebook because WhatsApp is available on a number of different platforms and has a staggering 100 million daily active users globally, serving few billion messages every day. The mobile app is currently the number-two paid app in the US Apple App Store, where it sells for $0.99. On Google Play, it’s free for the first year, and then $0.99 per year thereafter.

Why Facebook wants for this deal?

Facebook previously bought Instagram for $1Billion not very long, although that number is mostly reflected in now reduced stock options. It’s not clear why Facebook would buy WhatsApp but there are a few possibilities, including augmenting or even gutting the unreliable Facebook Chat and there is of course the legion of WhatsApps users. Please leave your comments below if you have different view.
